It’s time to rewind back to 2002 when I exposed one of the biggest idiots I’ve had the pleasure of never meeting, Ricky Carralero. I dug up the old website I created to inform the world of Ricky’s fraud and destroy his career.
The person on the right has asked Me to hide her identity
because she is embarrassed to be seen with this fool.
Armando Huerta is the REAL artist of all My images and Ricky Carralero is NOT. I originally signed a licensing deal with Ricky to sell “his” images.
After paying thousands of dollars and continually being LIED to and given the runaround, I found out that the real artist resides in Mexico and that Ricky is merely an amateur con artist. To make matters worse, he refuses to issue Me with a refund. What’s new? None of the people that Ricky was involved with ever saw any money.
Ricky stole Armando’s paintings and then painted over Armando’s signatures and replaced them with his own. Now try doing that with a Picasso.
Check out the white spot behind the signature.
You can also see a light purple spot behind Ricky’s signature on Armando’s Lady Death painting. He’s so amateur that he couldn’t even match the color of the background.
How It All Started
Armando Huerta worked with Ricky Carralero on a comic book series. The comics below were published by Ricky but the artwork was CREATED by Armando. Ricky was the “art director” but Armando was the actual artist.
Front and back cover (published December 1998).
As you can see, Ricky is the publisher and Armando is the artist. The text reads:
“And so, another Armando Huerta comic book. We’ve selected a gallery of some of Armando Huerta’s never published work before and a couple of hellraising scenes from the “Raw” series. Armando has gained worldwide recognition for his gorgeous and erotic art not to mention the extreme and controversial scenes inside some of these books. It can only take the mind of Armando Huerta to create such erotic, perverted but humorous creations ever.”
“The last time I talked to Armando, he wanted to tell you guys this: “Thank you for buying my books. Thank you for all the wonderful letters and compliments about my art. It’s hard for me to read my letters since my English isn’t that great and I live in Mexico. Thanks again and wait till you see the new books lined up!”
“Armando draws the sexiest and hottest females I’ve seen and we create situations that do happen in real life and exaggerate them a bit. We aren’t afraid to show you what actually goes on behind closed doors. You the fans demand this. Don’t forget this is a business just like any other. It’s supply and demand. If this stuff wouldn’t be selling, we wouldn’t be printing it. Yes, hundreds of people may hate it, despise it, are disgusted by it but there are thousands who love it and treasure it. So far all our fans across America and internationally, I have to say, if your comic book store doesn’t carry Double Impact, demand it today.”

So, there you have it. The cold hard evidence. Ricky’s own words – in print and printed BY Ricky.
So What Happened?
Ricky realized that Armando was the one getting all the attention and couldn’t handle the fact that this guy was on his way to pin-up artist stardom. Out of desperation, he also started painting in hopes of becoming the next Armando. Below I have collected more evidence of Armando’s work and Ricky’s attempts at the same pieces. The artistic talent, no doubt, comes from Armando Huerta.

Ricky’s rendition of the same painting.
Bobbi seems to be having a bad hair day and an itchy stomach!
Quotes From a Few People That Ricky Has Deceived
“It is with great pleasure that I have come to know Ricky Carralero. He is an artist of extraordinary talent and great vision. His work is bold, dramatic and highly erotic. The images actually jump off the page with exhilarating energy. Ricky Carralero is an artist representing the first generation of the 21st century.”
Robert Bane
Los Angeles gallery owner
NOTE: I recently contacted Robert Bane and asked him for transparencies of Armando’s original work. He denies having them even though he purchased stolen paintings from Ricky Carralero, took photos of them once he acquired them and then sold them to his customers under the Carralero name.
“Ricky’s work of me makes me get goosebumps in awestruck every time I see a new image. Sorayama and Olivia came into my house and stopped dead in their tracks with jaws open and studied the hot and sexy lines of his brush strokes with pure amazement and a hint of jealousy. Need I say more?”
Julie Strain
American actress and model
“With original paintings selling in the quadruple digits,
M̷r̷.̷ ̷C̷a̷r̷r̷a̷l̷e̷r̷o̷Armando Huerta has developed a strong and diversified fan base across the globe. His work hangs in the homes of some of the most discriminating celebrity art collectors including Madonna, Jose Canseco, Vanilla Ice and members of the Lakers basketball team to name a few.”
Armando’s stunning work vs. Ricky’s sad attempt.
Armando’s sexy Red Shorts painting vs. Ricky’s icky yellow version.
Ricky’s elementary school painting technique clearly stands apart from Armando’s professional airbrush work and explicit detail.
I have received countless emails from people all over the world wanting to know the story. Some people still believe that Ricky is the artist in spite of the overwhelming evidence. These people are unable to accept the fact that someone could pull off a deception of this magnitude but the truth is, Ricky never laid a finger on any of the paintings he claims to have collaborated on except to paint over Armando’s signature and replace it with his own.
Any other questions? Email Me.
If you think that I’m the only one who has been conned by this loser, please read on. I have compiled a collection of emails sent to Me by people from all around the world who have also been duped …
Ricky Carralero is that psychopathic that he has not only convinced himself that he is the artist but he has also convinced all his friends, for example, John Ulloa.
“I have been following Ricky’s art career for a very long time. Ricky was a great artist long before Armando showed up. You would think Armando would be grateful that Ricky showed him the ropes. Armando is a great artist in his own right. I never liked Armando’s work in the beginning, it was too cartooney. But boy did he learn under Ricky’s teachings. He has turned out to be a great artist as well. I think it’s a crying shame that you people slam and slander a great artists reputation over a sticker deal gone bad. That’s all this whole Ricky slam fest is. Get over it… You do not have an exclusive deal with Ricky Carralero!!! Enough sour grapes already!!!”

Ricky Carralero’s Website
Ricky Carralero claimed to be the artist of Armando Huerta’s work back in the 90s and 25 years later, he is still telling everybody he is.

Ricky,
I got your e-mail with the new work. “Wow! You’re work is truly amazing. You can adapt your ability to illustrate as any way you want and that is truly a gift.
You have a unique Flair that even when Illustrating your gorgeous realistic portraits we know right away that is a Ricky Carralero piece and the same applies when you Illustrate your very own style of Anime it is totally different than the rest and once again, we know that is a Ricky Carralero Manga piece.
Remember Ricky, Life can be cruel and deliver devastating blows to our lives. It is okay to take all the time to heal even thought I am sure you have heard this before and bills do have to get paid but, take time my friend.
It has been a pleasure to have followed your work for many years and I am excited to be part of your new venture ahead as you find yourself now.

Karma Is a Bitch
In 2002 somebody posted a comment on My Ricky Carralero Hate Mail message board and said, “Karma will get him. Big time!” Ricky isn’t intelligent enough to know that what goes around, comes around and exposing his dirty deeds to the world was just the beginning of his karma. Now I’m back after 21 years (not that I ever left) and will be educating all of Armando’s newer fans on how all of this began.
On May 25, 2022 Ricky Carralero’s son, rapper OhTrapstar (Ernesto Enrique Carralero), died in a car crash. [1] The vehicle lost control and crashed into a Miami duplex. The rapper was best known for his 2017 track “Choppa” which racked up more than 10 million views on YouTube. He’s also Lil Pump‘s cousin, a rapper signed with Warner Records who has a 14.7 million following on Instagram.
Did the death of Ricky’s son make him change his ways? Not at all. If you go to his Instagram you’ll see him using Armando’s artwork and still telling everybody that he is the artist.
It looks like he’s in some legal battle with Ernesto’s mother as well. Oh Ricky, when are you going to learn?
Ricky states, “I been in a very very scary dark place people!!!” That’s weird because one of the paintings he stole from Armando was placed on the cover of “Purgatori Darkest Hour” in 2001.
It’s interesting that OhTrapStar has an album called A Star Was Born (released in 2020) and Lady Gaga starred in a movie called A Star Is Born (released in 2018).
Radio Gaga was Armando’s final painting.
